Hi, I’m Josh Wayne and I have one goal: to rid the world of poorly designed software.

We’ve all used software that’s frustrating, broken, confusing, convoluted, bloated, or just pointless. And I want to help you avoid that for apps you’ve designed.

Creating a well designed app is challenging. It’s a balancing act to design software that looks good, serves business goals, does what the user wants, and is easy to use. I want to help cut through the noise to help designers be better at their craft.

Why should you listen to me?

I’ve been working as a UI/UX Designer for over 11 years now. I started my career as a developer before realizing the quality of my code means nothing if people hate using what I make. So when I discovered the world of UX/UI Design, I was hooked. Since then I’ve worked on dozens of projects with Fortune 500 companies, startups, mom and pop shops, and many others.

I created this site as a resource for other people who want to learn how to make badass software and don’t have time to dig through resources that are tossed together to get clicks. It’s the kind of resource I wish I had when I started my career.
